Footloose Wild Harvest & Dog Walks
Our Story
Elizabeth spent 35 years working in Parks and Protected Areas throughout British Columbia, Canada. This provided opportunities to learn from both indigenous healers and reference books about plants and about traditional wild plant remedies, and she began making salves for family, friends and dogs. Now she makes a little extra.
At a very young age Elizabeth began riding horses and walking dogs in the mountains and made a lifetime hobby of training dogs for various activities. Now in addition to the salves she offers a number of pet care services including 'Wild Walks', drop in care and limited overnight boarding.

Plants are harvested seasonally and we are careful not to over harvest therefore, stock is limited. Click on item for information.

Animal Services
Welcome all of you amazing animals! Spend quality time with us. Join fellow dogs to run and play, stay overnight in our cozy home, or hang out in the yard for a day.

Elizabeth loves her canine friends, she is highly responsible and has very good animal handling skills. My dog adores Elizabeth and has a wonderful time with her. Margo
Horse visit
Elizabeth is insured through the Horse Council BC. While you are away your horse will be calmly tended. He will be fed, watered and cleaned up after, spoken to quietly and perhaps rubbed and brushed. Dogs, Cats, Horses
Drop in visit or walk
During your hours away from home Elizabeth will drop by to tend to your dog, cat, birds, fish etc. Up to 30 minutes is $30.00 per visit for the first animal. For more information contact us at: eliz@footloosewildharvest.ca
Wild Walks
While you are at work Elizabeth will pick up the dog for a happy hour or more spent with other dogs on local backroads and trails. Joyous running and playing tires him out and he is then taken home for a nap!
A one hour outing is guaranteed although the excursion can be up to two hours, for $38.00 If your dog is healthy, well socialized and responsive to a handler he is a great candidate for this option! For more information contact us at: eliz@footloosewildharvest.ca
Overnight Stays
A convenient location on the way to the Campbell River airport, Elizabeth will take your dog overnight for multiple nights while you are away. He will live and sleep in the house and enjoy playing in the fenced yard. Only one dog guest stays at a time for $45.00 per night.
